Does the same voltage mean it will work directly with my motor?

You also need to confirm that the motor supports lithium batteries, review current requirements, and check the battery's continuous and peak output. Voltage is only one factor. Confirm the final choice against both manuals and the specific models.

How long can one battery run?

Run time depends on actual device power draw, operating level, simultaneous loads, and the environment. Provide the equipment and usage plan before assessing capacity. Battery capacity alone cannot support a reliable promise of time on the water.

Is trolling-motor power the same as engine starting?

These are different power needs. This page focuses on deep-cycle equipment power. Engine starting requires a battery explicitly confirmed for starting use and capability, and should not be substituted with a deep-cycle selection.

Can I keep using my existing charger?
