DOD stands for Depth of Discharge.
In simple terms, DOD refers to how much of the battery capacity has been used. For example, if a battery has
a DOD of 50%, it means that half of the battery’s capacity has been discharged.
Compared with traditional lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 batteries usually support a higher depth of
discharge, allowing users to make better use of the available battery capacity. Managing the depth of
discharge properly can help extend battery life and maintain stable performance.
BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries are equipped with low-temperature protection. When the ambient temperature is too
low, the BMS may limit or stop charging to help protect the battery cells and prevent damage caused by
charging in low-temperature conditions.
Please note that low-temperature protection features may vary by model. Always refer to the specific product
page or user manual for accurate information. If you often use batteries in cold regions, winter outdoor
environments, or low-temperature conditions, we recommend choosing a model with low-temperature protection.
With proper use and maintenance, BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries can typically provide thousands to tens of
thousands of deep cycles, offering a much longer service life than traditional lead-acid batteries.
Actual battery life may be affected by depth of discharge, charging method, ambient temperature, load power,
storage conditions, and usage frequency. To help extend battery life, we recommend using a charger
compatible with LiFePO4 batteries, avoiding long-term over-discharge, and storing the battery in a dry,
well-ventilated environment with a suitable temperature.
You can use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the battery terminals. If your battery supports
Bluetooth, you can also check voltage, current, and SOC status through the battery app.
Please note that voltage can only provide a rough indication of battery status and cannot always accurately
represent the remaining capacity. LiFePO4 batteries have a relatively stable voltage curve, so we recommend
estimating remaining capacity by considering SOC, current, usage time, and load power together.
If your battery supports a Bluetooth app, we recommend using the app to check real-time battery status.
In general, we do not recommend using a BUKNUWO LiFePO4 deep-cycle battery as a starting battery for cars,
motorcycles, or marine engines.
BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries are mainly designed for energy storage and deep-cycle applications, such as RV
power systems, marine house power, camping equipment, solar systems, off-grid energy storage, and backup
power.
Starting batteries are designed to deliver very high instant current for engine starting, while deep-cycle
batteries are designed to provide stable and continuous power. For safety and stable performance, please do
not use a standard deep-cycle LiFePO4 battery for engine starting unless the product page clearly states
that the battery supports starting applications.
Yes. BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries have recommended temperature ranges for charging, discharging, and storage.
General recommendations are as follows:
Charging Temperature: Charge the battery within the recommended temperature range and avoid charging in
extremely low-temperature conditions.
Discharging Temperature: LiFePO4 batteries can usually discharge within a wider temperature range, but
extreme high or low temperatures may affect performance.
Storage Temperature: When the battery is not in use for a long time, store it in a dry, well-ventilated
place away from direct sunlight.
Specific temperature parameters may vary by product model. Please refer to the product detail page or user
manual for accurate information. To protect battery life and safety, avoid placing the battery in
high-temperature, humid, waterlogged, or poorly ventilated environments for long periods.
About Charging
Yes. We recommend fully charging the battery before first use.
BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries are usually not shipped at 100% state of charge. The battery may arrive with a
partial charge due to factory settings and transportation requirements. For a better first-use experience
and more accurate battery status display, please fully charge the battery with a charger that supports
LiFePO4 batteries before using it for the first time.
If your battery supports Bluetooth app monitoring, fully charging it before first use can also help the app
display SOC status more accurately.
BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries can be charged in several ways, including with a dedicated LiFePO4 battery
charger, solar charging system, generator, or vehicle charging system.
1. Use a dedicated LiFePO4 battery charger This is the most recommended and easiest charging method. Please
choose a charger that supports LiFePO4 battery charging mode, and set the proper charging voltage and
charging current according to the battery specifications.
For BUKNUWO 12.8V LiFePO4 batteries, the common standard charging voltage is 14.6V ± 0.1V. Please refer to
the product detail page or user manual for the recommended charging current.
2. Use a solar charging system BUKNUWO batteries can be used with solar panels and a solar charge
controller. We recommend choosing an MPPT or PWM controller that supports LiFePO4 battery charging settings.
MPPT controllers offer higher charging efficiency and are better suited for RVs, boats, off-grid systems,
and medium to large solar energy storage systems. PWM controllers have a simpler structure and are suitable
for smaller solar charging setups.
When charging with solar power, please set the correct charging voltage and current according to the battery
specifications. Avoid using a controller that only supports lead-acid battery charging modes.
3. Use a generator or vehicle charging system If you charge the battery with a generator, vehicle
alternator, or onboard charging system, we recommend using a suitable DC-DC charger or charging device that
supports LiFePO4 batteries.
Do not connect the battery directly to an incompatible charging device, as unstable charging voltage or
current may affect battery life or trigger BMS protection.
The recommended charging parameters may vary depending on the voltage and capacity of each BUKNUWO LiFePO4
battery. Please always refer to the product detail page, product label, or user manual for the exact
specifications.
In general:
12.8V LiFePO4 Batteries We recommend using a 14.6V charger that supports LiFePO4 charging mode. The common
standard charging voltage is 14.6V ± 0.1V.
25.6V LiFePO4 Batteries We recommend using a 29.2V charger that supports LiFePO4 charging mode. Please refer
to the product specifications for exact charging parameters.
Recommended Charging Current Choose a suitable charging current according to the battery capacity and
product specifications. For example, a 12V 100Ah battery should be charged with a LiFePO4 charger that
matches the product requirements. A lower charging current is gentler and may help protect battery life,
while a higher charging current charges faster. However, the charging current must not exceed the maximum
charging current specified by the battery BMS and user manual.
Battery runtime depends on battery capacity, device power consumption, inverter efficiency, operating
environment, and depth of discharge.
You can use the following formula for a simple estimate:
Runtime ≈ Battery Energy (Wh) × Usable Efficiency ÷ Device Power (W)
For example, a 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery has approximately:
12.8V × 100Ah = 1280Wh
If it powers a 60W device under ideal DC conditions:
1280Wh ÷ 60W ≈ 21.3 hours
If the battery powers AC devices through an inverter, the actual runtime may be lower due to inverter loss.
In many cases, an efficiency of about 85%–90% can be used for estimation.
Actual runtime may vary depending on device power, inverter efficiency, battery condition, and operating
environment. The calculation above is for reference only.
Slight warming during charging is normal. During the charging process, current flows through the battery
cells and internal components, which may generate some heat. As a result, the battery case may become
slightly warm.
However, if the battery becomes very hot, produces an unusual smell, becomes deformed, makes abnormal
noises, or if the charger overheats, please stop charging immediately and check the following:
Whether the charger supports LiFePO4 batteries; Whether the charging voltage and current match the battery
specifications; Whether the terminals or cable connections are loose; Whether the operating environment is
too hot or poorly ventilated; Whether the battery is in an abnormal condition.
If you cannot identify the issue, please stop using the battery and contact the BUKNUWO customer support
team.
When using a proper LiFePO4 charger and when both the battery and charger are in normal condition,
occasional overnight charging usually will not damage the battery.
BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries are equipped with a BMS battery management system, which helps provide protection
against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and temperature-related risks. When the
battery reaches the protection conditions, the BMS will take protective action.
However, to better extend battery life, we still recommend disconnecting the charger after the battery is
fully charged and avoiding unnecessary long-term connection to charging equipment. Do not use an
incompatible, unprotected, or low-quality charger to charge the battery for extended periods.
In most cases, BUKNUWO battery packages do not include a charger. You will need to purchase a suitable
LiFePO4 battery charger separately according to your battery model and application.
When choosing a charger, please consider the following points:
1. Voltage Compatibility Make sure the charger voltage matches the battery voltage. For example, a 12.8V
LiFePO4 battery should be charged with a charger designed for 12V LiFePO4 batteries.
2. LiFePO4 Charging Mode Choose a charger that clearly supports LiFePO4 batteries. We do not recommend
replacing it with a standard lead-acid battery charger.
3. Suitable Charging Current A higher charging current can charge the battery faster, but it must remain
within the allowed range of the battery. Please select the proper charging current according to the product
detail page or user manual.
4. Safety Protection Features We recommend choosing a charger with over-voltage protection, over-current
protection, short-circuit protection, temperature protection, and automatic stop-charging function.
5. Suitable for Your Application If the charger will be used in an RV, boat, solar power system, or outdoor
environment, choose charging equipment suitable for that scenario and make sure the installation environment
is safe, dry, and well ventilated.
If you are not sure which charger to choose, please contact the BUKNUWO customer support team and provide
your battery model, capacity, and application scenario. We will help you choose a suitable option.
About Battery Connections
When connecting BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries, the two most common methods are series connection and parallel
connection. These two connection methods serve different purposes. The main difference is how they affect
the battery bank’s voltage and capacity.
1. Series Connection A series connection means connecting the positive terminal of one battery to the
negative terminal of the next battery.
When batteries are connected in series, the total voltage of the battery bank increases, while the capacity
in Ah remains the same.
For example, two 12.8V 100Ah batteries connected in series can form an approximately 25.6V 100Ah battery
bank. Four 12.8V 100Ah batteries connected in series can form an approximately 51.2V 100Ah battery bank.
Series connection is commonly used for applications that require a higher system voltage, such as 24V, 36V,
or 48V energy storage systems.
2. Parallel Connection A parallel connection means connecting all positive terminals together and all
negative terminals together.
When batteries are connected in parallel, the total capacity in Ah increases, while the voltage remains the
same.
For example, two 12.8V 100Ah batteries connected in parallel can form an approximately 12.8V 200Ah battery
bank. Four 12.8V 100Ah batteries connected in parallel can form an approximately 12.8V 400Ah battery bank.
Parallel connection is commonly used for applications that require longer runtime or greater capacity, such
as RVs, boats, solar energy storage, and off-grid systems.
Important Note: Before connecting batteries in series or parallel, please make sure your battery model
supports the intended connection method. Connection limits may vary depending on the battery voltage and
model. Always refer to the product detail page and user manual for accurate information.
BUKNUWO LiFePO4 batteries support series and parallel expansion, but the supported connection method varies
by battery voltage.
12V Series Batteries: Supports up to 4S4P BUKNUWO 12V LiFePO4 batteries are low-voltage battery models and
typically support up to a 4S4P connection.
This means 12V batteries can support:
4S: Up to 4 batteries connected in series to increase system voltage. 4P: Up to 4 parallel strings to
increase total capacity. 4S4P: A battery bank with up to 16 batteries in total.
For example, using a 12.8V 100Ah battery:
1 battery: approximately 12.8V 100Ah, 1280Wh 4 batteries in series: approximately 51.2V 100Ah, 5120Wh 4
batteries in parallel: approximately 12.8V 400Ah, 5120Wh 4S4P configuration: approximately 51.2V 400Ah,
20480Wh
24V / 36V / 48V Series Batteries: Supports 1S4P Only BUKNUWO 24V, 36V, and 48V LiFePO4 batteries are already
designed for higher-voltage systems, so they should not be connected in series to further increase voltage.
These battery models typically support only a 1S4P connection, which means:
1S: No additional series connection. The system voltage remains the same. 4P: Up to 4 batteries of the same
model can be connected in parallel to increase capacity and runtime.
For example, using a 24V 100Ah battery:
1 battery: approximately 25.6V 100Ah 2 batteries in parallel: approximately 25.6V 200Ah 4 batteries in
parallel: approximately 25.6V 400Ah
After parallel connection, the voltage remains the same while the capacity increases.
Please do not connect 24V, 36V, or 48V batteries in series. Doing so may cause excessive voltage, BMS
mismatch, system failure, or potential safety risks.
4S4P is a common battery connection term that describes a battery bank made with both series and parallel
connections.
S = Series P = Parallel
4S means 4 batteries connected in series to increase voltage. 4P means 4 parallel strings connected to
increase capacity. 4S4P means connecting 4 batteries in series as one string, and then connecting 4 of these
strings in parallel.
For example, using a 12.8V 100Ah battery:
Single battery: 12.8V 100Ah After 4S series connection: 51.2V 100Ah After 4P parallel connection: capacity
increases to 400Ah Final 4S4P battery bank: approximately 51.2V 400Ah
This configuration is suitable for systems that require both higher voltage and larger capacity, such as RV
energy storage, solar energy storage, off-grid systems, and backup power systems.
Please note that 4S4P only applies to supported 12V low-voltage battery models. BUKNUWO 24V, 36V, and 48V
batteries do not support 4S4P. They only support 1S4P parallel expansion.
1S4P means the batteries are not connected in series and are only connected in parallel for capacity
expansion.
1S means the system keeps the original battery voltage without series connection. 4P means up to 4 batteries
of the same model can be connected in parallel to increase capacity.
BUKNUWO 24V, 36V, and 48V LiFePO4 batteries typically use a 1S4P connection method. In other words, these
higher-voltage models should not be connected in series again. They can only be connected in parallel to
increase capacity and runtime.
For example, using a 24V 100Ah battery:
1 battery: approximately 25.6V 100Ah 2 batteries in parallel: approximately 25.6V 200Ah 3 batteries in
parallel: approximately 25.6V 300Ah 4 batteries in parallel: approximately 25.6V 400Ah
After parallel connection, the system voltage remains the same while the battery capacity increases.
This connection method is suitable for applications where users want longer runtime or greater energy
storage capacity without increasing system voltage.
To ensure safe and stable operation of the battery system, please pay attention to the following points when
connecting batteries in series or parallel:
1. Use batteries of the same model Whenever possible, use batteries of the same brand, same model, same
voltage, same capacity, and similar condition.
2. Do not mix new and old batteries We do not recommend mixing new batteries with old batteries. This may
lead to inconsistent battery performance and affect battery life.
3. Confirm whether the connection method is supported 12V batteries typically support up to 4S4P, while 24V,
36V, and 48V batteries typically support only 1S4P. Do not exceed the allowed connection range stated for
the product.
4. Keep battery voltage consistent before connection Before connecting batteries in series or parallel, make
sure the voltage of each battery is close. This helps avoid excessive balancing current caused by large
voltage differences.
5. Use properly rated cables and protection devices Select suitable cables, fuses, circuit breakers, and
busbars according to the system current. This helps prevent cable overheating, poor connection, and
potential safety risks.
6. Connect the positive and negative terminals correctly Always confirm the positive and negative terminals
before connection. Incorrect polarity may damage equipment or create safety hazards.
7. Follow the product manual Connection limits may vary by battery model. Please read the product manual
before connection, or contact the BUKNUWO customer support team to confirm the correct connection plan.
No. We do not recommend connecting batteries with different voltages together.
For example, do not connect a 12V battery with a 24V, 36V, or 48V battery. Batteries with different voltages
may have different BMS designs, internal structures, charge and discharge parameters, and protection logic.
Mixing them may cause system failure, unbalanced charging or discharging, BMS protection shutdown, or
potential safety risks.
If you need a higher-voltage system, please choose a battery model with the correct voltage, or use
supported 12V batteries in series according to the product manual.
If you are not sure whether to use series connection, parallel connection, 4S4P, or 1S4P, we recommend
contacting the BUKNUWO customer support team before making any connections.

chargers, solar charge controllers, or other connected devices. This helps prevent standby power consumption
from causing over-discharge.
3. Choose a Suitable Storage Environment Store the battery in a dry, well-ventilated, cool, and clean
location. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, moisture, standing water, excessive dust, or corrosive
environments.
4. Keep Away from Heat Sources and Flammable Materials The battery should be kept away from open flames,
heating equipment, engine heat, and flammable materials to ensure safe long-term storage.
5. Check the Battery Level Regularly During long-term storage, we recommend checking the battery voltage or
SOC status every 1–3 months. If the battery level is too low, recharge it properly with a charger that
supports LiFePO4 batteries.
6. Inspect the Battery Before Reuse After long-term storage, check the battery case, terminals, cables,
voltage, and state of charge before connecting it to your equipment. Make sure there are no abnormal
conditions before use.
Proper storage can help reduce the impact of natural self-discharge and keep your BUKNUWO battery performing
reliably for a longer service life.

BUKNUWO’s shipping coverage may vary depending on the product type, warehouse inventory, shipping policy,
and destination country or region.
Because LiFePO4 batteries are powered products, cross-border shipping, air transportation, and delivery to
certain regions may be affected by logistics regulations, warehouse availability, and carrier restrictions.
Therefore, shipping may not be available to all countries or regions.
If you are not sure whether BUKNUWO batteries can be shipped to your location, please contact us through the
official website before placing your order. Provide your country, city, and postal code, and we will help
confirm the available shipping options and estimated delivery plan.
BUKNUWO will process paid orders as quickly as possible. The exact shipping and delivery time may vary
depending on inventory status, warehouse location, shipping address, logistics method, holidays, weather,
and other factors.
In general:
1. Order Processing Time After your payment is completed, we will arrange warehouse processing as soon as
possible. Some orders may require 1–2 business days for confirmation, packing, and dispatch.
2. Shipping Transit Time After the order is shipped, the transit time may vary depending on the destination
and shipping method. Delivery to remote areas, holidays, or unexpected circumstances may result in delays.
3. Tracking Information After your order is shipped, you will usually receive tracking information. You can
use the tracking number to check the package status.
If your order has no tracking update for a long time, or if the estimated delivery time appears abnormal,
please contact the BUKNUWO customer support team. We will help check the order status.
After an order is successfully placed, the system usually sends an order confirmation email to the email
address provided at checkout. After the order is shipped, a shipping notification or tracking information
will also be sent.
If you have not received these emails, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Incorrect Email Address Please check whether the email address entered during checkout is correct.
2. Email Sent to Spam or Promotions Folder Please check your spam, junk, promotions, advertising, or other
email folders.
3. Email Server Delay Some email providers may experience delays. Please check again later.
4. Order Has Not Yet Shipped If your order is still being processed, the shipping notification email may not
have been sent yet.
If you still cannot find your order confirmation email or shipping notification, please contact the BUKNUWO
customer support team and provide your name, order email address, order number, or payment information. We
will help you check your order status.
We do not recommend using a virtual phone number when placing an order.
To ensure smooth delivery, please provide a real, valid phone number that can be reached. The shipping
carrier may need to contact you by phone for delivery, address confirmation, or delivery exceptions.
Using a virtual phone number, invalid number, or unreachable number may result in delivery failure, delayed
delivery, or the package being returned to the warehouse.
BUKNUWO respects and protects your personal information. Your contact information will only be used for
order processing, shipping delivery, and necessary after-sales communication.
