How to Choose the Right LiFePO4 Battery Voltage: 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V

Choosing a LiFePO4 battery starts with one simple question: what voltage does your system need? The right answer depends on the equipment you want to power, the current draw, cable length, inverter size, and whether the battery will be used for mobility, solar storage, or backup power.

Start with the system you already own

A 12V system is common for RV house power, small marine setups, portable solar, fish finders, lighting, refrigerators, and general deep-cycle replacement. It is easy to install and works well when the total power demand is moderate.
